It Comes True!

Again, I have a dream and it comes true.

Last year, I had a dream of drawing 'today was a fairytale' and I made it true by drawing using MS Paint. This year, another dream has been true. I have dreamed about this since last year, but I just made it true this year.

No, not I. It should be 'we'.

Finally, one of my short poem, At Your Worst, turned into a beautiful song titled 'Love You at Your Worst'. Turned into music and lyrics, performed by an awesome vocal.

I really lost words to write, still I'm excited and amazed, since this is an awesome beautiful song, and some people love the lyrics adapted from my poem. I feel awesome, totally.

Well, please listen and download the song here.

All thanks to Endy, Budi, Dwan, and Alit. You guys have done so well, my dream comes true because of all of you!

Dream comes true
It's so funny now that I see
How different life turned out to be
I realize that it's my destiny

by the way, Kat is so pretty in this performance totally distracted

To: Ice Mountain

Hm.

Lalu, saya mencoba membuat puisi balasan terhadap Letter to The Sun.

Kamu suka? Tidak suka?

Dear ice mountain
I am the sun
My task is to shine
Be the one you depend on

I am strong and bright
My light is valid
I sparkle through every space
Giving hope to the darkness

Even your hard winter
Can never stand on my way

I see through your icy wall
That weak heart of yours
My love shines brightest
Through that solid rock
Please, ice mountain
Trap and freeze me into you
Lock my ray inside you
Until you perfectly melt

I know you are afraid
Of being liquid and get hurt
I tell you that it's no need
'Cause you really need a start

You will turn into water
You will lose all your snow
While you'll still be beautiful
Not even less than before

No, you're not wrong at all
I definitely love you

Release all your fears
Set yourself free
If you don't know love
I will teach, just ask me
Believe me, you need me
Throw all your shields away
This time, love me
And make yourself an ocean

Surat Kepada Mentari

Mari kita berbahasa Indonesia.

Eh...kok nggak enak sih?

Jadi, kamu suka? Atau benci? Ditunggu komentarnya yes Kakak...

Dear sunshine
I am an ice mountain
I only knew cold and frozen
Until in mƐ yőυ shine on

Yőυ light мγ morning up
With a warm sincerity
Even moon reflects yőυ at night
To keep away the darkness

What makes yőυ stand still
Through the winter?

Yőυ throw away мγ loneliness
Pull mƐ out from a distance
I come to turn into water
I start to remember how it hurts
But, sunshine
Tell mƐ why this feels so right
While I'm still afraid to melt
From solid into liquid

Yőυ taught mƐ how to laugh
Introduced mƐ to the spring
Told mƐ how beautiful I am
Saw мγ weakness through мγ wall

I replied yoυя ray with snow
Treated yőυ with no gratitude
But when yőυ seem to want to go
I unconsciously mind мγ attitude

Is it just mƐ
Or do yőυ really Ľovε mƐ?

I don't want black in мγ sky
But what am I to do?
I wish yőυ stay forever
But how should I ask yőυ?
I know nothing of affection
So please don't leave mƐ alone
Teach mƐ about it forever
Until I'm gone, be an ocean

Oh iya puisinya emang tetap berbahasa linggis, meski pengantarnya berbahasa endonesa.

Little Things

I had a discussion with my girl via WhatsApp last year. I don't really remember when, but maybe around last month. This discussion is about 'what makes us fall in love.'

In our conversation we talked about little things on us that this guy notice. Little things he cares about, that he sees when no one else does. We mean we don't need poetic flirty words and actions, because they won't win our hearts. Meanwhile, a guy who tries to win our hearts by giving us attention, by seeing little things on us, will win easier than the guys who flirt.

Because flirting is too mainstream. We mean...NORAK, in Indonesian.

By that discussion, we concluded that it could be a basic idea for a new poem. Since my girl can't write it, she asked me to and I agreed. But I didn't catch the idea after the discussion, my mind was like distracted to anything else, so I wrote other themes for my poems.

But then, I recall some moments happened lately...and before. Last night I tried to combine my girl's experiences with her boyfriend with mine my imagination. I wrote one, titled Little Things.

Love it? Hate it?

I picked up my phone
Found your numbers there
With a simple text
Telling me to finish my work

Never tired to remind me
To look after myself
Never doubt to yell at me
Whenever I forget

Out of nowhere
You creep into my mind

No sweet words like poems
Not a knight in shining armor
No guardian angel
Not even any songs you wrote
'Cause I don't need them all
For you already won my heart
When you see the little things
That no one else does

Hungry at night
I ordered food to eat
While you looked and asked
'are you okay for it's 9pm?'

Out of drink, I took yours
And poured it to my glass
While you stared and said
'is cold water okay for you?'

Up until this stage
I fell into your trap

Those worry gaze of yours
When I said 'ouch!'
The way you're mad at me
When I go home at night
All those little things
That you notice in me
Keeps me drowning in your love
And I can't go back

Awesome Poem?

What should I do?

I know. Everytime I found new lines, either words, phrases, or even sentences, I must write them down. And when I have a lot, I will combine them into poem. Right? Let's do it!

...

Seriously, now it's not as  easy as it's seen. I have been in this condition before and I wrote around 150 poems, one or two each day. Or three. But now, it's hard. More probably that I am afraid of what I will write wouldn't be equal enough, compared to his work. Errr...what? But we don't even do the same work.

Now what am I saying? Blargh.

Right now, I am stuck.
